Its the first heartbeat, we ever hear. The first heartbeat, That sound so near. That first heartbeat, That quells our fears, That heartbeat, belongs to Mom... Its that first heartbeat, that makes us know, That we are safe, Wherever we go, Its that first heartbeat That makes us see, It gives us legs, And sets us free. That first heartbeat Makes us calm, And that heart beat belongs to Mom. That heartbeat, is louder than sound. Its more of a feeling, of feeling profound, Like feeling protected When shes not even around... That heartbeat belongs to mom! And nothing can ever, change that beat, It belongs to you and your family, And wherever in this world you may go, Theres one thing, That you should know, While I know you will miss The hello hug and goodbye kiss Take some Time while you are missing, Take some time To just listen... Youll hear that beat, As loud as a drum. With a 20 piece band And then some, Youll hear that beat, Boom like a bomb... Cause that heartbeat... Belongs to Mom
