Happy Mothers Day ...when we actually bracket our own sense of self concern long enough to care for a stranger as if they were our own child, when we actually create that much space and time around the people in our lives to understand them and serve their best interests, some frozen part of our hearts start to thaw, some mesmerized part of our brains start to de-hypnotize, and we get in touch with ourselves, with others, and the world around us, not in theory but in living relationship.
