*** Happy National Grandparents Day *** Water Babies is celebrating National Grand Parent’s day this Sunday, 28th September, a day we remember the magical bond that exists between young and older family members. Relationships between grandparents and their grandchild are very special and unique. Grandparents provide an emotional safety net and the initial bond that forms between grandparents and grandchildren in their early years can be enhanced easily by sharing activities such as swimming. Grandmother Mary Fox from Co Louth started Water Babies swimming lessons four weeks ago with her first grand-child Emily who is just over five months old. She loves the great opportunity to bond with Emily. There are not many activities you can do with a baby so young, so this is a very special time for us. Emily loves her classes – she is very relaxed and chilled out in the water!“ What are you doing for National Grandparent’s Day?
