Happy New Year Hoopers! We would like to invite you to play a vital role in creating a successful, memorable experience for Chicago area hooper, young and old alike! We need everything from teachers and performers to experts in Social Media and beyond. If any of this speaks to your heart, and you would like to volunteer your time, donate a service or product, or can give in another way we’d love to hear from you! Would you or your group be interested in performing? Do you have experience in teaching either hoop dance or fitness/cardio hooping and would you like to teach at the festival? Do you specialize in teaching children how to hoop? We need you! Can you teach a how-to class such as: how-to make hoops how-to decorate hoops with fabric or other unusual material how-to make your own recycled hoop clothes how to be an eco-friendly hooper how to recycle your used hoops into life hacks or art Are you interested in donating your old hoops? Do you have skills in Marketing, Social Media, Human Resources, Donations, Vendors, Sponsorship, Stage Production, Sound, etc… We’d love to hear any other suggestions, comments or idea’s from you! Food For Life This event is proudly benefiting Food for Life, a humanitarian aid organization providing schooling, food and medical care to girls in Vrindavan, India. On a recent pilgrimage to India, founder of Hoop for Life, Cindy Huston, gifted students with their first ever hoop. The excitement from the teachers and students alike was through the roof! Cindy decided that proceeds of Hoop for Life would benefit Food for Life. To learn more about this organization, please watch this video fflvrindavan.org/en/?page_id=8. This is a chance like never before to let Chicago (and the world) feel the good vibes you bring through hooping. Thank you for your time and consideration. We hope to hear from you! Happy Hooping, Hoop for Life Team
