Happy New Year! We’re back and beginning to entertain proposals to boost our cities’ development and economy as the new session kicks off! During the last week in Fall, each group of kidizens got to participate in a mock Town Hall Meeting. The citys residents were greeted by Mr. Igor Bolcoff Prosperous, known also as I.B. Prosperous proposed to fund the building of a mall in the city, to boost the sagging economy; however, there was a related issue of a threatened species of salamander that may have been impacted by the building of the mall. Different members of each town representing a variety of special interest groups, the construction workers, unemployed citizens, senior citizen, high school kids and many more, presented their views and voted on the proposal. They all engaged in deeper, critical thinking, mostly thinking on their feet, and learned, that by understanding different points of view, they can make a true difference in their communities. https://youtube/watch?v=E_RH17fV80k
