Happy New Year from Fine Gael and Labour, all their savage budget cuts hit families in the first week in January and now they annouce bigger warter tax bills for bigger families, while bonuses for staff at the Water company. While at the same time they and our Government sanction a huge payout to consultants of €86 million. IBM received €44.8 million and then you might have heard of these guys before Ernst and Young former auditors of Anglo Irish Bank who gave them a clean bill of health before the Bank crashed and went Bankrupt. Still amazingly they get plenty of work this time to the tune of €4.6 million. Another consultant paid €970,000 and founded by a Fine Gael politician called Alexis Fitzgerald who used to be an adviser to Garrett Fitzgerald. No suggetion of a good old boys club here, I am sure you would agree. We desere better, make them pay at the next electon.
