Happy New Year to our family & friends! We hope you all had a Beautiful & Peaceful festive season. As you all know from our last post Brooklyn had been having fevers right up until the day before Christmas. All her Doctors were on leave but we managed to get hold of her Rheumatologist. He upped her medications to above maximum doses and so Christmas day was our first fever free day in a while. While we are worried that she has a lot of medication running through her little body we know the Docs are just trying to maintain her until her genetic testing comes back - Hopefully this month. Once genetics are back we will hopefully have a clearer view of where we need to go with this which is either bone marrow transplant or other medications. We cant wait for this little Princess to be absolutely clear of any health issues so we can do normal things with her ALL the time. We long for the day that she will get to feel beach sand between her toes for the first time and get to play on jungle gyms with other kids. Until then we are enjoying our precious moments with her. We would like to say a BIG thank you to ALL the people that showered Brooklyn with gifts over December and 2014 for that matter. You brought her such joy and hours of fun playtime with all her new toys. A special thank you has to go out to HSG Inc as well as their employees for the AWESOME Christmas gift. I cannot tell you how much joy it has brought to Brooklyn (and Mommy & Daddy). We thank everyone of you for continuing on this journey with us in 2015 God Bless you all xoxo
