Happy New Years Eve!! As an adoption counselor you get a chance to work with some amazing cats as well as people. Today I get a chance to share such an experience. Meet Ash, a stunning 7 year old Russian Blue cat that came into our shelter who I immediately connected with. This sweet sensitive boy had just lost his caretaker and was understandably devastated. He was very shy when he arrived at our shelter and I gave him a little extra TLC to bring him out of his shell. Well on Monday the most amazing adopters came in and it was love at first sight and Ash was adopted. 2015 will bring him many new reasons for him to celebrate!! Nothing beats the feeling of matching up these animals with the perfect humans. No sales deal ever can compare, that is why I love what I do and I am blessed to be able to make a difference. As they say you may not be able to change the world but for that animal you have changed their world.
