Happy New Years Everybody!! We had such a wonderful time yesterday on our WooFDriver Tour of the Delaware & Lehigh Valley Trail near Philadelphia!! I posted a lot of the obstacles we ran into BUT that is anticipated when we run these unfamiliar trails!! In fact that is part of the adventure and bonding the WooFPAK and I share at these special times!! I never let it frustrate me I just try to find a way to navigate through as a team and continue our journey! Heres probably one of the most challenging positions weve run into on our tours! Again this was a spot where the trail stopped but continued on the other side. We therefore had to transverse some challenging terrain (Ill put that on the full video) including this huge dirt hill. This is part of my training regiment with the WooFPAK for off leash necessities such as here. You see we had to climb this hill and get the bike up there on our climb! It would not be possible with the WooFPAK attached to the bike or even on a leash safely! So after careful planning I climbed the hill with the WooFPAK off leash and had them wait patiently while Rhett and I than navigated the bike up that hill by pushing it!! Rhett did the pushing on the lower part of the hill and I assisted towards the top so the WooFPAK could keep me in view to let them know everything was ok! It was truly an Amazing time on our 11 mile run and that means we did almost every accessible part of this Delaware & Lehigh trail we could!! Im not sure of the total mileage but I believe its around 150 plus miles total! Next week we are looking to set our sights on a new trial to conquer!!
