Todays Fresh Manna (13.1.2015) The Overflowing Life- 6 (A New Series on the Overflowing Life) *********************** Be Faithful to Overflow! ************************** Prov 28:20 A faithful man shall overflow with blessings, but he who makes haste to be rich shall not be innocent. Luke 16:10 He who is faithful in the least is also faithful in much. And he who is unjust in the least is also unjust in much. Faithfulness and integrity have been the cardinal qualities of a man whom God blesses and uses. Right from the beginning of the Biblical history, we can see so many who proved to be faithful received Gods abundant blessings. Abraham, well-known for his faith was also faithful to God. Having faith in God is one thing and being faithful to God is another thing. Israelites believed in God but were not faithful to Him when they faced challenges in the wilderness journey. Hence God had to judge them and many could not enter the Promised Land because of their unfaithfulness. Joseph was a bright example of a man who remained faithful to God in the midst of severe temptations and trials. God blessed him and exalted him above all his people. Daniel remained faithful to God in a foreign land and in the midst of great challenges to be honored with a high position among his companions. God honors those who remain faithful to Him. Job remains the greatest example of a man who remained faithful in such extreme suffering and trial of his faith. He lost everything but not his faith in the goodness of God. The Lord Jesus spoke of servants who were faithful and were blessed with much. God tests our faithfulness in small matters and then begins to bless us with greater privileges and responsibilities. As we grow in our faithfulness, Gods blessings will overflow and others can also share in our abundance. God is looking for faithful men and women and not necessarily who are successful, so He can bless with His abundance. Be faithful to overflow with Gods best in your life. Amen.
