Happy Resurrection Day! (I dont like the name Easter- it is the name of a pagan goddess Oester.) Today, let us all focus on what God has done for us. He sent his only begotten Son to make a new covenant with all of mankind. No longer does the Law condemn us. No longer must we make sacrifices for every single sin we commit. Instead, Jesus took all our sins and they died on the cross. Christ rose again to prove and seal that the covenant is true and real. And to show us that we too will rise after death. We need not ever fear the grave. This life is only the beginning. We will live trillions of years in passionate interest, joy, love and peace. We will have forever to explore Gods creation. All because Jesus loved God and obeyed his will. We are very favored among men and have been especially blessed because God chose us FIRST. Before we ever loved him, he loved us. So, here we are, the benefactors of Gods amazing love. His children, who will be able to approach his throne on our own. Isnt that amazing? Much love to you all. Dont get so tied up in dinners and tradition that you forget to be happy and thankful to Jesus! God bless you.
