Happy Sabbath everybody! At The God Stop we take pride in our work, and touching lives is what were all about. Take a minute to read this testimony we received today.... I was watching the recording of the Belleplaine Road Trip last night where Ps. James was talking about forgiveness. And he had some serious points. One that stuck out was when he talked about forgetting. People always say they can forgive but not forget. Including myself. But he explained it to mean not wiping your memory. Thats impossible. We will always remember the things that happened. The forgetting comes when we dont hold animosity towards the person. Its when we can think about what happened without getting angry or upset and when we can be with the person without bringing up the issue over and over again. Thats forgetting. And that hit me hard because I feel like yes Ive forgiven, but I havent forgotten in the way he talks about it. I still find myself referring to the issue sometimes even though I probably shouldnt. Not necessarily to be mean, but just because it did happen and it affects me now. So hearing him really helped me. Were so happy to know that what we do makes a difference. Gods name be praised.
