Happy Saturday!!!! This was on my heart and mind, so I am sharing with all of you. Being a writer isnt something that I decided I wanted to do, I believe I was born to do it. From what my parents tell me, I have been reading since the age of 2. While I dont remember that far back, I do remember reading being something that I truly loved forever. I remember reading until my parents told me to go to bed and then after that using the moonlight or a flashlight to finish whatever story I was reading before I went to bed. (thats why I need glasses now...lol). There is nothing like opening a book and being transported into another place, become another character, or experiencing another life. I remember reading all of the books that I would borrow from the library at one time and then reading encyclopedias to past the time until the next library day. I remember my best friend Jami Loveable Bees father, James Byrd challenging us to read the entire Bible and we did circa 8-10 years old. I have read all of the Gnostic Gospels. I have read all of William Shakespeares plays. I am well versed in Greek Mythology. I remember in the 4th grade having a neighbor who worked for a book company of some sort and he let me take whatever books he had in his garage which included textbooks and audiobooks and I read/listened to all of them. (I was in heaven!) Because my love of reading, by default I started to write. I began writing poems and short stories in the 5th grade and havent stopped since. I say all of that to say this, nothing is by chance. It took me 20 years to muster up the courage to write something for the world. I would blog here and there but I would never really pour my heart out like I did in this book. Jay-Z said, It took my entire life to write Reasonable Doubt. At the time I didnt really understand what he was saying but now I get it. It wasnt until I read The Alchemist, and received spiritual tutelage from Dartanion and Joi Hayward that I became aware of what my purpose was and I took massive action and wrote this book in two months.
