Happy Saturday! WE HAVE MET (& now exceeded) OUR $10,000 MATCHING GRANT CHALLENGE! Thanks to recent donors: Gabrielle, Angela, John & Karen & Shannon! Since we have ongoing costs beyond this great support of funding, and technically a new deadline of October 8, well just keep the fundraising page active for now. We are privileged to know this individual, and want to share that they are an inspiration to the the A.S.K. street team. Our work is not easy, and facing animals (and people) living in compromised situations is not something we get complacent about. HOWEVER, we learn to channel our energies into productively making a positive impact. When it is 20 degrees outside, or pouring rain on a cold fall day, we are empowered to keep on going because of people like this special individual(s) who are giving JUST as much of themselves despite not being physically in the streets with us. Really, we take ALL of you donors into the streets with us every week because without all of you, there is nothing to give but our advice. Advice is great, but hands-on support with relief supplies transform lives right on the spot! THANKS to EVERYONE who shared our pleas for help, and/or donated too! WE DID IT!
