Happy Sunday Everyone! A writer friend tagged me and offered me a challenge: Post the first 7 lines of page 77 on your current work in progress and then tag 7 more. Unfortunately, after my third round at this, Ive run out of any more writer friends to tag, so if you are currently working on a book, feel free to play along. Heres mine from SoulTracker: “You still have so many years in front of you, Papa, please don’t talk like that!” Don Ramon looked at Daniela straight into her eyes. His were filled with tears. “I’m dying Daniela, and there’s no doctor who can cure what I have. I have no doubt in my mind that you will survive, but you must promise me that your sisters are going to be taken care of.” “Oh, Papa! She wrapped her arms around him, placing her ear on his chest. A small wheezing could be heard, followed by the loud thumping of his heart. Suddenly, she became aware of the frailty of his structure. The strong legs that once held her as she listened to him read, now felt bony and thin.
