When we practice this, we remove all power that we allow others to have over us. I know it is difficult to learn and practice, trust me... The reason people find it so hard to be happy is that they see the past better than it was, the present worse than it is, and the future less resolved than it will be. I have the goal of being the best, but I approach everything step by step using short-term goals. When I meet one goal, I set another reasonable goal I can achieve if I work hard. To be grateful is to recognize the Love of God in everything He has given us-and He has given us everything. Every breath we draw is a gift of His love, every moment of existence is a grace, for it brings with it immense graces from Him. We share this planet with many species. It is our responsibility to protect them, both for their sakes and our own. Our days are happier when we give people a bit of our heart rather than a piece of our mind. Dont surrender all your joy for an idea you used to have about yourself that isnt true anymore. Dont let your mind bully your body into believing it must carry the burden of its worries. People who believe in luck spend their whole lives chasing it, while people who believe in blessings spend their whole lives creating them. If you aren’t where you want to be in life, you’ve got to work every minute and snatch up every opportunity Sometimes life is good. Sometimes life sucks. But at the same time we know and are so assured of Gods presence with us. And despite the pain... When youre enthusiastically living your passion, whatever it may be, you transmit spiritual signals to those around you that youre in-spirit, loving who you are, what you came here to be, and whoever comes into your field of vision. ...if you cant handle me at my worst, then you sure as hell dont deserve me at my best. Everybody has talent; its just a matter of moving around until youve discovered what it is. If you have a talent, use it in every which way possible. Dont hoard it. Dont dole it out like a miser. Spend it lavishly, like a millionaire intent on going broke. “Once the realization is accepted that even between the closest human beings infinite distances continue, a wonderful living side by side can grow, if they succeed in loving the distance between them which makes it possible for each to see the other whole against the sky” Everybodys life is either a warning or an example. Youve got to decide what youre gonna be and you have to draw a line in the sand. “Waiting is painful. Forgetting is painful. But not knowing which to do is the worst kind of suffering.” Rather than using language indicating that your desires may not materialize, speak from an inner conviction that communicates your profound and simple knowing that Source supplies everything. I dont need anyone to rectify my existence. The most profound relationship we will ever have is the one with ourselves. As you grow older, you will discover that you have two hands, one for helping yourself, the other for helping others. “Don’t set your goals by what other people deem important.” “Erase self-doubt by working to build your strengths instead of focusing on your weaknesses.” “In action breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy” - Everything youve done for Gods glory will be recorded in heavens memory. Men will forget the courageous things you did, the inspiring words you spoke or even the way you made them feel good. But theres no way for God to miss your sincere motives that glorify him. - Happiness is not having what you want, its wanting what you have - Keep praying until mountains become gardens of blessing; storms become winds of power; tests become professions; and obstacles become stairways to success - It is wiser not to expect, but to hope. For in expecting, we meet disappointments. Whereas in hoping, we invite surprises and miracles - A brilliant mind and skillful hands are useless without a humble heart - Character is more valuable than intelligence or talent - Healthy Diet: Eat our negative words, swallow our pride, digest Gods teachings, eliminate our ego. For dessert, indulge in prayer. - No matter what is happening in your life today, as a believer in Jesus, you have a reason to be excited about your future. If things seem dark right now, know that the dawn will soon appear. The key is that you have to remember you are not here by accident. You have a purpose and destiny to fulfill, and he isnt finished with you yet. Your best days are not behind you, your best days are out in front of you - Sooner or later, start taking yourself seriously. Know when you need a break. Know what to get worked up about and what to get rid of. Do something that makes you stronger and more complete. Because it’s never too late to have a life, and never too late to change one. - The lords prayer is the most beautiful prayer. It speaks about: FAITH as we call God our father; HOPE as we would want the kingdom to come; LOVE as we would aspire to do his will. It is also the most complete prayer for it deals with: PRESENT as we ask for daily break; PAST as we implore him to forgive our sins and forgive others; Future as we ask him to lead us not into temptation and deliver us from the evil one. - Lord, I know not everything I wished and hoped for will come true. Please give me strength to let go and entrust everything to you. I understand you won’t allow me to be in pain for the sake of hurting, but for the sake of learning. You know me more than I know myself that even when I feel alone and unloved, there is still someone who knows all my flaws yet loves me unconditionally like no one else. - I asked God, “How do I get the best out of life?”, He answered “Face your past without regret, handle your present with confidence, prepare for the future without fear.” Then He added, “Keep the faith and drop the fear. Do not believe your doubts and never doubt your beliefs. Life is wonderful if you know how to live. Just trust Him.” - Be tender with the young, compassionate with the aged, sympathetic with the striving, patient with the weak, forgiving with the wrong. For in our lifetime, we were and will be any or all of these. - Happiness is somewhere between too little and too much. May you have just enough wealth to meet your needs but enough poverty to learn how to work hard. Enough blessings to know that God loves you but enough problems so you dont forget him. Enough happiness to keep you inspired but enough trials to keep you strong. Who you are is Gods gift to you, but who you become is your gift to God.. Godbless,.
