Happy Tails Update ~ Trevor is a bit of a rock star, and has a small following on Instagram (gooddogtrevor aka Trevor the Wonder Dog). He has grown from a small black and tan shepherd-looking pup to a big beautiful 66 pound red Chow mix who is probably the smartest dog Ive ever seen. He loves water and has enjoyed a summer filled with trips to the beaches of Rehoboth and Lewes in Delaware where he was charmed throngs of admirers and enjoyed days of swimming in the sea. He thinks other dogs are the greatest toys on the planet, and he has excelled at both off-leash performance training and agility classes. He could play fetch for hours on end, and loves to go for rides in my truck, where he has his own tempurpedic dog bed in the back seat. He is quite skeptical of strangers and requires people to pass an unknown test of character before he accepts that they are worthy of my company, but to be honest, I sort of like that about him. It is maddening for them, though, as he is so beautiful, all they want to do is touch him ... and that does not come easily. He is my north, my south, my east and west. He has saved me in many ways, and makes me laugh every single day. Ive blogged about him (huffingtonpost/randi-miller see The Rescue), and posted more pictures of him online than I care to admit. His portrait has been painted not once, but twice (the artist found him so beautiful that she had to do more than one, and she didnt charge me for the second). He is a gift I cannot begin to explain. Thank you for such an amazing update! We love seeing them live the high life they all deserve
