Happy Thanksgiving!!! I am thankful for all my wonderful FB friends. Our dinner is over. Dishes are done. Leftovers sent home with family and when they left, they went three different ways - a far cry from when I was a kid. We went to one grandparents house at Thanksgiving and one at Christmas. The end. Today after everyone began to load up to leave, I drove Kathy and Lee back to her house. Ash woke up with fever and aches and didnt even get to come. Scout stayed at my house and when I got back I then took him to his dad and step-moms house. After I came back, Crissy and Andy loaded up their kids and headed home. I missed my Little Mama today. So much. No one following me around wanting to help. No one telling the same story over and over about when she was a little girl. No one talking about what a good cook Mom was (LMs mother). The one thing we can always count on when I serve a family meal is Crissys husband Andy eating himself into a food coma. LOL They had to wake him up to go home. Every time. :) So after dinner was over we sat at the table and told stories about Little Mama. She is so many things to so many people. Teacher to hundreds and hundreds of students over the 31 years that she taught. Daughter, Sister, Cousin, Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Aunt and Great-Aunt and a splendiferous friend.
