Happy Thanksgiving from Hanoi! Today Ehrin Macksey and I stuffed our faces with turkey sandwiches from Daluva and pumpkin pie from Joma Bakery Cafe Vietnam. Its not home cooking, but it was close enough to make me feel happy. I miss America. Its been around 10 months since I visited the States and I probably wont be back until well into 2015. Still, Im thankful for technology and the web, and for tools like Skype and LINE that allow me to communicate every single day with my mom, sister, and brother like we are next door neighbors. Technology is the greatest gift and Im so thankful that its allowed me to live the life I want. Hope all of you in America have a great holiday today. Be thankful for being able to live in a country with incredible pizza, diverse landscapes, freedom of self-expression, different cultures, and the most amazing desserts known to mankind.
