Happy Thanksgiving to all my family and friends, as well as to my extended family on Facebook and in the racing world. As most people are ready to sit down and eat, or just having finished eating, I am boarding a plane headed for Ontario, where I will pick up my truck and drive to Perris Auto Speedway for what is my 24th Turkey Night Grand Prix. I have missed just one in the past 25 years (I chose not to attend one year at Irwindale to be with family on Thanksgiving). After tonight, I will drive back to Ontario airport and jump on a plane headed for El Paso, Texas where I will be scooped up and taken to Southern New Mexico Speedway, site of the Thanksgiving Bash for USAC Southwest Sprint Cars. These two nights of racing will represent my 133rd and 134th race dates of the year, and will be my final races of 2014. Its been a very exhausting, eventful, trying, glorious year of racing. I am thankful for the season I had, and that it will be complete. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
