Happy Thanksgiving to all my family, friends and any Facebook stalkers! Quit obsessing about what you don t have and take some time to reflect on what you do. Health, the love for and from others and inner peace and tranquility is all that really matters. Your boat, dually truck, let-me-top-yours vacation, and plastic surgery will leave you feeling a bit empty and disappointed in the long run . If you still cant grasp gratitude, visit a hospital, nursing home, poverty-stricken neighborhood, or volunteer for the day at a homeless shelter or soup kitchen and maybe gratitude might be a little easier to come by. For me, I am grateful for all the things I have. Im fat--it just means I havent had to go hungry. Im 51 (yes old) --I know many people who havent been blessed with that many years on the planet and would have given anything to have been given the chance Im broke-- But Ive never been so broke that I havent been able to give something to somebody Im not intellectually superior--but it doesnt mean that I dont know whats important and it just means that I get the opportunity to learn something new daily. I wish to say a great big thank-you to my creator, whom I choose to call God. And thank you to family and friends for your unconditional love. Happy Thanksgiving indeed.
