Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! And an extra extra Thank you to Dana Abbott who organized the trip, and Carol Grainger and her wonderful family for picking up and transporting Rose and Bandit from Lindale TX, all the way to Kansas City yesterday and holding them until we can get them from there to St. Louis Area, even on a holiday! They are the 2 dogs we rescued and have had in boarding to save their life since 11-8 (at $34. a day, plus $160. in basic vet care for the 2), when the pull person/foster and transport person/group backed out at the very last moment leaving them to die at the holding facility in Tyler TX. An expense we cant afford nor expected, but Rose and Bandit are safe, and soon to be here! They will be available for adoption after we have had them fully vetted. The update we have so far is by Carol Bandit and Rose were great travelers and fantastic house guests. They have played with our daughters Dog and with our grandkids. they are great friends and they are so sweet. :) Even more to be Thankful for!
