Happy Thursday, Face-Overs...... Wished everyone a HNY at 12:something this morning, so one last time - Happy New Year. Now.... lets get on with it. In recent, more sober years, I find myself looking forward to getting stuff done, making progress, accomplishing something; anything, and I start in January by making plans and setting priorities. NOTHING is engraved in stone, and I dont really make NY resolutions, because I dont believe in Reverse Self-Fulfilling Prophecy, which is my fancy way of saying setting myself up to fail. I see that a lot, and have done it a lot my ownself over the years, but 2014 was a damn good year for getting things done. No reason we cant do it again. Well keep things doable, keep our goals realistic and attainable, and we can succeed regardless of any obstacle or naysayers. Just hide and watch. STUNT DRIVER CITY out there on the streets. 1/8 of invisible ice. Interstates shut down north, south, east, west. Yall stay HOME. You just THINK you can drive on ice. Hell, most of you people cant drive worth a shit on dry pavement. What makes you think you can drive on solid ice? Texting.... Hungover..... While drinking a beer.....Smoking weed..... In a 2wd POS with Maypop tires......? AAAiiiieeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!! Oklahoma - Land Of The RedAss.... Dont go anywhere. Stay home. Politics this year - Not gonna be good. We let the moneychangers into the temple, and then they sent the preachers to the Gubmint House, and the preachers are legislating the Bible while the billiionaires buy our country out from under us. This is bullshit, and cant continue. Im working two angles this year - 1.) I am supporting Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders for Prez, VP in 16, and 2.) I intend to volunteer to register voters. Its time to take action, and its the least i can do for my country. If people dont vote, democracy is dead. On a more immediate front - Mrs. Baxter has a pork roast in the slow cooker, with kraut. There are black-eyed peas involved, mashed Idahoes, with gravy. Asked yesterday what he would prefer for dessert, Mr. Baxter suggested that a nice cheesecake might be a good way to top off the New Years meal. Shes a dandy, boys. You young single bucks should be so lucky. This will be our 29th New Years Day. xoxoxmysweetie...... OK, enough - Again - you Okies stay put. You don;t need to be out there driving up my car insurance premiums. Love yall - jb
