Happy Thursday Peepsicles! 1170! What’s that you ask (as usual, always with the good questions)? Well, that is the number of Peepsicles we have in the gallery. EXCITING! You see, after my devastating announcement yesterday (devastating for the ladies, of course), I was worried our fan base would drop. Drop, I say, DROP! Just like the stock market when those investors get all nervous about some obscure upheaval in a school district somewhere. Happily, it did not. In response to my post yesterday, I saw one Peepsicle (my sister) say I was more the Jim Carrey of the Donut world rather than the George Clooney. Aside from her being WRONG, I guess I could accept that. Jim and I both have broken the hearts of Lauren Holley and Jenny McCarthy (shhh…the ladies had to sign a confidentiality agreement, hence no word of it in the news). Anywho, I guess you could call me Jim-George! That’s got quite a ring to it now doesn’t it? Hey, if I was ever to spin off of the Donut Girls, I could open a Jimmy-George’s – gourmet style TOAST and HOT WATER! C’mon Peepsicles, have you ever seen ME in the kitchen? Exactly! There’s a reason for it. Let’s be honest, I’m not sure how well I’d do with the WATER! Perish the thought! Alrighty then (anyone, anyone?)! Well, since it’s Thursday, we should talk about what is on the menu for…wait for it…Wednesday! No, no, no…just kidding. Let’s talk about today…Thursday…four days away from my vacation ending and the gap between posts beginning again. Wow…my vacation is like the movie Speed…rushing along with no way to stop EXCEPT at the end of my vacation the bus explodes due to the villain known as MONDAY (dun, dun, dun). Where’s Ted when you need him (c’mon people, you must have gotten that reference, no? - okay, I’ll explain: Ted is the character in Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure which was played by Keanu Reeves. Keanu was also in Pointe Break with Patrick Swayze and The Matrix with Morpheus which brings me to Sandra Bullock then the bus explodes (women drivers – JUST KIDDING ladies, JUST KIDDING). Oh, I don’t want vacation to end. Now, don’t tear up people, I know you are sad that the posting frequency won’t be the same, but I’ll post from time to time. We’ll always have this week (tear). Okay, back to Thursday, today we have UNSTUFFED GREEN PEPPER SOUP, CHEESY CAULIFLOWER SOUP, REUBENS, and BLUEBERRY DONUTS! See there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow (which appears after the rain which in this scenario is the sadness brought about by my lack of posting. Geez, must I explain everything). I have to go Peepsicles because I slacked on my doing nothing yesterday and it’s starting to pile up. Don’t be jealous, someone has to do it, and I have taken up that cross to bear.
