Happy Tuesday, Friends!!! Our Youth Dancer Spotlight is a collegiate dancer from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater! I had the pleasure of working with her at a workshop a few weeks ago with the UW-W Dance Company! Shes full of talent and drive! Ladies and Gentlemen, I am honored to present Miss Shaina Williams from Wisconsin!!! Full Name: Shaina Williams How old are you? 20 years old Where are you currently dancing? University of Wisconsin- Whitewater; Whitewater, WI What is your favorite form of dance? Why? My favorite form of dance is lyrical because it is very open to anything, and I love expressing the emotion. If you could take class from anyone, who would it be? Why? If I could take class from anyone it would be Stacey Tookey because she seems so down to earth and I love her style. Who/What inspires you to dance? Why? Whatever is going on in my life inspires me to dance. Whether I am having a good or bad day, dance always makes me happy. What would be your dream dance job? Why? My dream dance job would be to start my own dance convention and teach and dance there. What has been your greatest dance accomplishment, thus far? Why? My greatest dance accomplishment thus far has been receiving scholarships to attend the Chicago Dance Connection dance convention for free because it was my first scholarship to receive, and it was such an honor to be pointed out like that. ******If you are a dancer under the age of 21 and youd like to be considered for next weeks Youth Dancer Spotlight, its EASY!!!
