Happy Veteran’s Day to my two brothers, Sam Van Hoose and Homer Van Hoose, who both served over 20 years in the US Navy. I admire them for their dedication to the Navy but also to their families. They struggled through many years of being deployed for long periods of time and still remained true to their families. They both had strong wives who held the families together while they were away . I know through times of Terry being away in the Army how hard it was sometimes to be strong for the kids and keep up with finances, work, home, school , sports, church, and other activities. All the while, trying to diminish in the eyes of the kids how dangerous their father’s missions sometimes were. Their work ethic and love of country and family is something to be admired. I just want to say thank you to both of them. Love you dearly!!!
