Happy belated New Years Day to those among us who use Earths most popular calendar, which is its Gregorian one (also known as its Western calendar or Christian calendar)! Heres one of my six Facebook wall posts today to acknowledge this days passage. Its an excellent day to both learn from our past and prepare for our future. To help with this task, heres a brief audiovisual New Years Day message from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints about how our faith in Jesus Christ gives us strength to abandon our respective sinful past, plus courage to embrace a brighter more-righteous future. As Hugh B. Brown once noted, No matter what your past has been, your future is spotless---so, lets please strive to avoid sullying our tomorrows as they become our yesterdays, and also to make the utmost of our todays to love/serve both God with all our souls, and our neighbors as ourselves, through which we may enjoy genuine happiness, especially in the long run. May the rest of your life always be the best of your life, and may this new year be your best year yet!
