Happy birthday to the beautiful soul Malcom X. His work was carried on by my one of our musical heroes Fela Kuti who held Malcom X as a personal hero of his. Fela was and is a major inspiration for Afrolicious and therefore inevitably so it Malcom X. Without Malcom X and the autobiography he co-wrote with Alex Haley the world may never even have known Fela and he certainly would not have been who he was making music centered around African culture and history and battling colonialism, white supremacy, slavery, and oppression. We need to make his birthday a national holiday, in the end he fought for the good of all humankind, and the emphasis on his racists views is a way to discredit his transformations during his lifetime and his ultimate open hearted views in the end and the fact that he was always a very respectful public persona even when he was saying some harsh truths that people simply did not want to hear. delconewsnetwork/articles/2014/05/19/news_of_delaware_county/news/doc5372963feccf8395724648.txt
