Happy independence day Friends... India got independence on 15th august 1947, so the Independence Day is celebrated on the 15th august every year. In the early morning the flag is hosted by the prime minister on the Red fort. In red fort millions of people take part in the independence ceremony. Many prime ministers and presidents of other countries also attend the independence ceremony. Independence ceremony has different dances leaded by different countries. There are many tasks performed by the Indian army. After the flag hosting different cultural events are performed at the red fort following the March past of the Indian Army. Before hosting the flag our dear prime minister gives the annual speech. Every one sing national anthem of India which is JANA GANA MANA. Every one stand still for the national anthem of our country. On this day the great personalities who had important role in giving independence to India are remembered. The flags are also hosted in each and every school where teachers and students come together and celebrate the independence of the India by hosting the flag and singing national anthem. The tricolor flag is hosted by prime minster. Then the salute of the 21 guns is fired and the flowers are showered on the flag with the help of helicopter. The saffron colour from the flag represents the courage and sacrifice, white color represents peace, truth and the green color represents faith and chivalry. Our flag has Ashok chakra at its centre. It has 24 spokes which are evenly spaced. The independence day is celebrated all over the country as it’s the day at which India has got the freedom from the British people, who ruled the soil of the India from more than 200 years. On this day bhagat singh, sukhdev and raj guru are remembered for their great contribution in the independence of India. Gandhiji was the main person because of which india got freedom from the British. On the day of independance there is national holiday in India. Every Indian celebrates the Independence Day by hosting the falgs in their school or offices or their society. This is the day on which we feel proud to be an Indian.
