Happy new year to all of you! We truly hope it is rewarding and prosperous for everyone. 2014 has been marvellous really. Weve done much more in the past 12 months than we thought wed be able to if were honest! Heres a brief summary: recording and releasing album #2 Jugaad; touring around Scotland playing at Celtic Connections Aberdeen Jazz Festival, Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival, Wickerman Festival as well as a whole load of gigs elsewhere around the country; playing and touring through Europe in places wed never seen before; a live BBC Introducing session with Jazz House on BBC Radio Scotland; various press articles including heraldscotland, Podcart, Jazz In Europe, Rave Child and more; a number of teaching workshops; reaching the top 50 of the iTunes Jazz charts for the UK and there are many many more things which have occurred thanks to so many wonderful people associated with this perpetually ambitious collective. Thank you all. However, 2015 will be better... So how about a recap of our time in continental Europe? Watch the playlist below for some great laughs and beautiful places.
