Happy to answer and share another question from the community: QUESTION: Why does Groveport have so many administrators? Why do you need three assistant principals at just the high school? ANSWER: Groveport Madison High School serves a large number of students – almost 1,600! When you add in the principal, that is an approximate ratio of 400 to 1 students to administrators. As a district, we have only 1 administrator for all other buildings and departments. The entire district’s student to administrator ratio of 219.7 to 1 is EXTREMELY high when compared with the average in the county 171 to 1 and the average in the state 149.9 to 1. The fact is we have several administrators taking on multiple responsibilities to help with school operations and we have survived with the same number of administrators for the past several years.
