Happy to give praise where its due. I was definitely annoyed with Verizon on Saturday night when my cable, phone and internet blew out after a storm. The disruption of service wasnt the problem, it was the notion of having to wait until Tuesday to get a guaranteed appointment where it could be fixed. Well, Verizon called me today at work (fortunately I had already reported by column and can work at home) and said they could have someone there as soon as I could get home. The repairman was waiting when I arrived and he efficiently took care of business. In about 5 minutes the issue was repaired and we were back in the game. Rays & Reds telecasts on Opening Day were saved! Ive been generally happy with Verizons product, and now Im pleased with its service.
