Hard Facts: Looking For Solution in Kesses Location. Total population as per today 22,648 persons. Elderly people 186 persons representing 0.82% of the total population. Meaning if my maths is correct in 100 people from kesses location there is an 82% chances that one person wil live to be 70 years. Conclusion:1. Our Chances of being 70 yrs is diminishing....am worried. The whys can be answered by Nutritionists Caroline Birgen n others and Medical doctors DR Nyameino Simba @DR Owen P Menach Among others. 2. Am interested in the remaining 186 elders in my location. am sure they face alot of challenges among them disease,ageism, age discrimination and elder abuse. Our history of caring for the elderly was a family affair carried out largely by women in the home but things have changed. Poverty has rendered the elderly to lack companion and Money to pay for the medicare. I have an idea which i feel we need to implement for the sake of the Elderly in our Communities. Because our country and county have no ability to help them because of other priorities. Am appealing to All of You that we have an obligation to help them. My request is that we need to pay for their NHIF cover for a start. If u support me in this noble idea. Like this post and God will make u see 70 yrs.
