Hard to believe it is Monday as the weekend flew by. Starting Friday evening with people coming in for Barn Hunt & having practice runs, obedience class and finishing preparations for the trial it was a 16 hr day. Saturday started early building the barn hunt courses (moving straw bails really provides an upper body work out) and went through until roughly 4 with 2 trials of Open & Senior - Wow watching the dogs work was a special experience. Sunday saw a repeat with the 6 am rise, building courses circa 7 and going through until 3 - my turn to judge Instinct and Novice. Deconvolving the straw piles to get them covered before the rain started was yet another chance for exercise and then when the upper classes that Jenn was judging were complete, Robin, Kathy, the Alverezs, Brenda & Kayla all pitched in to get the straw bales into the shed and packed away.
