Hard to fit thoroughbred type? 2006 Bruno Pineau 17 Got a hard to fit thoroughbred with a dip in the back behind the shoulder and a prominent wither and maybe spine? Want the comfort and performance of a French saddle? You need to buy this saddle! While not well known on this side of the Atlantic, Bruno Pineau is a well respected saddlery in France, similar to Butet. This 2006 is in nice condition with a 17 deep seat (similar to a Butet L seat) and a 2 forward flap (comparable to a Butet 2 flap). Actual measurements are 3 1/4 in flap length and 13 1/2 in flap width. This saddle has a narrower gullet than most and will fit a narrower horse with thoroughbred type withers and back. We brought this saddle to the barn and tried it on several thoroughbreds, along with some other french brands, and hands down this fit the thoroughbreds the best of any of the saddles. $2000 more photos at bluesaddles.
