Hard work is good, but it can’t replace skill. Skill is good, but it can’t replace hard work. Skill and hard work are good, but they can’t replace character. If a man’s skill and diligence takes him to a height that his character cannot sustain, he will crash down. Samson and Gehazi had it all made, but character default crashed their edifice. Joseph and Daniel are what I call “all-rounder” and they remained relevant till their last breathe. If you ask me, I will say skill is left hand, hard work is right hand, while character represents the legs on which the body frame stands. The three are critical to lasting relevance/respect in any life endeavor. See you at the top. Life is good because God is good.
