Hari Om Our previous communications refers: May we confirm that Lord Shree Hanuman Murthi at the Shree Hanuman SDS Mandir will be de-consecrated at 13HOO on Friday the 28 February 2014. The then statue will be removed from the temple at 08HOO on Sunday morning the 2 March 2014 in preperation for the move. A specialised crane will hoist the stature to the 1st floor of the new shrine at 08h00 on Monday morning the 3 March 2014. The stature will then be moved into the new shrine on Monday the 3 March 2014 at about 9h00. The base will then be prepared while a refurbishing process Will begin. Consecration of the murthi will take place on the 12 April 2014 in the new shrine in line with the opening ceremonies on the 13th, 14th and 15th April 14 as follows: 1. Opening of the New Shrine – Ribbon cutting by Mr Harry Mungal – President of the organisation 2. Consecration of the 108 steps and the official opening there off – Ribbon cutting by Mr Ramsayi Dowra 3. The 75 year commemoration ceremony The writer feels that this is a historic event and that you and your family should make a concerted effort to partake. This will Be recored by means of photographs and media coverage. Assistance will be expected from members of our community, however it should be noted that this move is being conducted In the morning, before breakfast or after breakfast of vegeterian meals and in a spiritual, calm approach and attire with our Sincere intention of making this move as safely and in the best interest of our Hindu community. This operation must be joyious but constructive Light refreshments will be provided on both days by the Temple office members.
