Harper has made some great improvements in eating some food that has a little texture. She has only been allowing us to feed her puréed baby food without any kind of lumps, but tonight she had 3 1/2 puffs that she fed herself and she is tolerating soft cheese and other very soft foods without gagging. She is still struggling with liquids and only takes in a few ounces of her milk a day by mouth and the remainder goes in her tube. We also recently got a new button that does not have a balloon so it should not come out. Yay!! She loves walking behind her push walker and pulling up and cruising along the furniture, but isnt standing alone or walking just yet. We just got checked by the Doctors up here on her development and they said she is pretty on track for her adjusted age of 11 months (14 1/2 months actually.) We are so proud of her progress and all of the new things she learns. She is still on oxygen at night, naps and for car rides but should grow out of the central apnea eventually is what they are thinking. We are blessed to be where we are today!
