Harry Reid. When I think of Harry Reid, I should think of him as - TopicsExpress

Harry Reid. When I think of Harry Reid, I should think of him as The Senate Majority Leader. Instead, and because of him, I think of evil incarnate. Starting with the premise that most if not all politicians are suspect in some manner, Reid seems hell bent on being less than likeable, he seems eager to be despised, reviled and even worse, which I won’t go into in this forum. Because Harry Reid is what he is, he has succeeded in spades, making many, at least those who take offense from an offensively pernicious man, wish he would simply go away. As in, go to hell. Character in all of us have traits that are consistent. If you are typically grumpy, you seldom are not. With Harry Reid, smearing others with damnable lies seems his one great consistent characteristic, one that is a serious flaw. How Harry came to be such a pugnacious, loathsome man is not known but I would guess someone at some point did a number on him. Perhaps his parents? Or his first peer set? Or maybe Harry was born a detestable bastard? In the political arena, the weak are consumed. It’s a rough and tumble undertaking by individuals who regularly shun the Marquess of Queensbury Rules. But there are some unwritten rules, or there used to be, that claims on a personal plane without foundation should be out of play. Especially when you call another man a liar, say you have proof and never offer it. That is Harry’s number one political skill: you’re a liar, I have proof, and others will believe me. Adjunct to that is today’s ever ready mantra for Democrats: you’re a racist. For Harry, you’re a liar is his mantra. God, the man sees almost no one who differs with him that is not a liar. Harry does not restrict his liar label to those of his pay grade, no, he took it up the pay scale when he called President GW Bush a liar. My guess is Harry took exception to a Bush policy or comment. Either way, that’s Harry at his shiniest moment. Of course we know he droned on and on ad nauseam in 2012 that Mitt Romney had not paid his taxes for what, ten years? And he never did prove it (because Harry is the true definition of a liar, not everyone else) but said a third party this and a third party that, told him so (somehow Harry grew up to become a lawyer…too bad he lacks a simple understanding in law: hearsay is nothing. Nada. Zip. Zilch. Try taking that evidence to court. In Harry’s Senate Kangaroo Court, that works…in the parallel universe we call the real world, nuh uh). Our formative years are considered those years from puberty to maturity. For Harry, he remains prepubescent with playground taunts, lies and a generally disagreeable persona (I wonder how many times he was roundly beaten near the monkey bars…). In other words, Harry is not remotely mature and given his age, never will be. In a paper published by The University of California in Riverside, it has been shown-proven that our personality is cemented by age 7 and remains largely the same from that age on. So now we know: by age 7, Harry was an asshat…and a lying one at that.
