Harry Snyder, former Ford and Du Pont employee, passed away in his sleep Thursday October 30, 2014 at his home in Port Aransas, Texas. Harry retired from Du Pont in 1991(?) Born on a farm in North Dakota and a graduate of North Dakota State, he worked at Ford Highland Park and Ford Scientific before transferring to the Mt Clemens Ford Plant. Throughout his life Harry maintained his thrifty ways learned in slim circumstances in his early days; growing and preserving his own food, and as a devoted hunter and fisherman. Some of his happiest days were spent stalking the wily walleye in his 39-foot Marinette boat on Lake St Clair. He was also known for his iconoclastic and sarcastic view of the human condition. Harry had a number of health issues the last few years. No further details of his arrangements are known at this time. Harry is survived by his wife Joan, PO Box 2635, Port Aransas, Tx, 78373.
