Harry was not well known at all outside the USA he did his concerts in America, his audiences consisted of upper middle class to upper class intellectuals, he was a story teller, a man who had a profound affect on my life. First heard one of his songs at about the age of eight Taxi, then another, his songs were too long to be played on the radio, so they shortened them, but in 1976 he released Cats in the Cradle and finally had a hit. He saved millions in the world from starvation including Americans, but his main focus was on Africa. Thanks to a former colleague I have every song he ever recorded. I love him with all my heart and soul. May he always rest in peace.
