Has any consideration been given to having Justina file for Emancipation from DCF custody? Wherein, DCF has assumed the role of parent she personally could demonstrate the ineptitude of the parent.Furthermore, her situation would be moved to a different judge ultimately forcing DCF to prove their qualifications. Of course, the caveat to this is the door would be opened to her for legal counseling. The part that would present a problem will be the basis of financial independence and that could probably be worked out with the parents. The application for emancipation in her case could establish a new law president. Of course, the tie into this is the filing of a law suit by Justina predicated on false imprisonment. In this scenario she names individuals making them personally responsible and not the state or the hospital. Are there any legal minds amongst us that could offer an opinion?
