Has anyone heard of the Yellow Dog scheme? Its a brilliant idea! Its for dogs who need that wee bit extra space when out on their walks or visits to the vets, simply pop a yellow ribbon on their lead, or you can get bandanas or jackets they... can wear out and about. Not every dog wants other dogs or people to approach them, and the reasons vary, they could be nervous of other dogs, they could be aggressive or simply in training. If your dog is unwell or recovering from surgery then this is also helpful.
