Has anyone used a doctor for biomedical treatment of autism in the - TopicsExpress

Has anyone used a doctor for biomedical treatment of autism in the greater Boston area? My girls are on a GFCF diet right now (its been 3 weeks) and my husband and I are interested in looking into further treatments & supplements, but were wary of unproven science (not because something might not work but because it might be harmful). I dont know how to sort out the snake oil from the potentially life-changing treatments, and I cant figure out where to begin. We are hoping to find someone who can help us with dietary adaptations, supplements and allergy testing but are uncomfortable with chelation, and most of what Im finding are DAN doctors who I believe do the whole package. Or am I wrong? Any and all advice and suggestions are welcome, especially doctor recommendations (or warnings). Thank you! julie Cotton __._,_.___ Reply via web post Reply to sender Reply to group Start a New Topic Messages in this topic (1) The Mass Family Voices Listserv, a moderated list, is funded through a federal grant, Family to Family Health Information Center (6 H84MC08005-03-03) from HRSA/MCHB – Maternal and Child Health Bureau.
