Has been a busy week so far, but a great one! A savy politician told me at the beginning of this process if I wanted to be successful at my job be a good listener...sage advice which I am glad I took. I attended the Town Hall Meeting hosted by Supervisor Cliff Edson. We are blessed to have some very concerned citizens in our midst and they expressed their observations about some of the subjects discussed that night. I thank each and everyone of them for vocalizing their thoughts, it is so important to know where the needs of the county lie. I also attended the Valley Springs Area Business Association, had a great lunch served by LaContenta then heard about the health plan issues from Laurel Joliff. Just as importantly had some great conversation with my lunch mates...great week & by the way, that red velvet cake was fantastic!
