Has the situation in S Sudan ever broken your heart? The plight of the people and the suffering they endure is tragic, defying our sense of decorum and justice. If you are like me, you feel helpless to be able to help these people and often compassion fatigue sets in compounding the frustration. We now have a way to be able to affect a young man from S Sudan and our hope is that he will in turn help others in his war torn nation. Moses is applying to come to our 5 month Sustainable Agriculture School we are pioneering in Jinja, Uganda starting July 14. He wants to learn skills in agriculture and combine it with his Christian faith and desires to start growing food and teach others in Yei, S Sudan. He has no money for the school, but we have encouraged him to apply to the school in faith that God will touch peoples hearts and help to fund his way. The cost of the school for Africans is so little to us, but so huge to them. The African tuition is $600 (including room and board) and with visa costs, transportation and necessities we can educate and send him back to his country for around $1400! What an investment opportunity into S Sudan! If any of you would like to help us help Moses, please donate toward this young mans future. You can donate directly on our website livingseedsinitiative.org or can send us a check directly made out to Living Seeds Initiative and send it to PO Box 296, Van, TX 75790. If we raise over the amount we need, we will apply any extra to other African coming to the school who are not yet fully funded. We have students coming from Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, DR Congo, and staff coming from Zambia. Several are not fully funded yet. Please share this with anyone you think might be interested in making a difference in Africa.
