Has your faith in corporate America been restored in the years - TopicsExpress

Has your faith in corporate America been restored in the years since the financial crisis? Corporate America Hearts You, Too Americans are expressing renewed confidence in corporate America, according to the results of a fresh study. Polling firm Harris said that its Poll RQ study measures six “dimensions” that comprise reputation and influence consumer behavior. In its latest assessment, the company found that many Americans have recovered a decent measure of faith that certain large U.S. businesses are doing right by their customers. For instance, retailer Amazon received an unsurpassed “RQ score” of 83.87. No company in the study earned more of the public’s faith, according to Harris. At the other end of the spectrum was Bank of America, with a score of 55.34. Harris said that no company in the survey fell into the very poor or critical stage, in terms of public confidence. (That’s right, not even B of A). It was the first time since 2007 that no companies registered in the “critical” stage, with a score below 50. The public’s faith in companies has therefore recovered quite well since the dark days of the financial crisis. Is this a sign that companies have improved in terms of their service and trust-worthiness, or just a sign that people feel that their lives have gotten back to normal? #PublicConfidence Copyright Today’s Credit Unions harrisinteractive
