Has your world been turned upside down recently? Have you had something happen to you that you just dont understand? Does it feel like your heart has been ripped out and youre about to die? I dont like clichés. I think they are way overused and even abused. I think people get tired of hearing them too. So Im not going to sit here and tell you that everything happens for a reason. Gods word never says that. God never says that we wont go through tough times. He never promised us that. But what He did promise is that when those trials and hard times do come, He will help us through them. He will be the rock on which we stand. He will be that strong fortress where we take refuge when were in trouble. So go to Him. Cry out to Him. Tell Him how much you hurt, how broken your heart is right now. You can even tell Him if youre angry. He can handle it! And then do your best to lay it all at His feet and leave it there. Let Him give you comfort and rest. You are loved very, very much. Shalom
