Hashtag: Realtalk This is the kind of thing I wish I could do for a living... I would love the challenges of taking commissions to create props for people or building outdoor cat runs for other people or building Hobbit Holes for childrens play houses or creating wooden pokeballs or Poes in jars or making suits of armor from various materials or creating amazing landscapes for tabletop gaming or realizing my vision of Regal Nerd Furniture (Entertainment centers with console utilization and proud display in mind or coffee tables that house retro gaming rigs and accessory storage)... I would get a thrill from the challenge of attempting something I had never done before, working with new materials, using my brain to solve problems and create art with function. I could have much more time at home, including my children in the activities I needed to perform or at the very least being around for them. I wouldnt spend a measly 3 hours with them a day to go spend 8 hours with people I really dont care much about just to earn a living. But I just dont see how I can... With an incredible family to provide for I feel like Im stuck for the rest of my life doing a job that bores me to tears and gives me absolutely no challenge or satisfaction because it is what I NEED to do. I feel like I shouldnt complain too much... I was very lucky to get the job I have. The pay is great and the benefits are outstanding... I just do not want to be doing this for another 30-40 years hating every minute of the work I have to spend MOST OF MY LIFE doing from this point on... https://youtube/user/volpin/videos
