Hassen Sheikh Aways...... I think, Sheikh Aways situation is unique and has nothing to do with “talking with you enemies”. First, Sheikh Aways is uniquely evil individual that practiced concoction of Tribal and perverted religion for the last several decades. Second, despite the spin-doctors version, he hasn’t abandoned wicked Al-Shabaab ideology—he remains committed to it-- but was defeated within Al-Shabaab internal struggle. After that defeat, he left for his hometown to seek safety. Third, the Federal Government approach of welcoming the most notorious Somali terrorist in Mogadishu with VIP status is despicable. President Hassan’s spokes person calls Aways an Honorable and esteemed “Sheikh” that will be afforded with deference! Fourth, Sheikh Aways was not only operational commander as an experienced military man; he’s the spiritual leader of this evil organization. Fifth, his presence in Mogadishu is a great danger to the fragile stability of this new government. Dealing with Aways terrorist will be a defining moment of the Federal Government. It either makes a clean break with tribal approach and hands him to international courts or confirms that indeed it’s “Hawiye” government.
